WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

The BI Mid Market Sales Manager is an accomplished sales professional with the vision for building their account portfolio with the experience to help drive the execution of a go-to market strategy for the Catalysts BI products and Services including Data Management, Data Analytics and Data Science and Machine Learning solutionsFocusing on driving revenue in new accounts and expanding our presence in existing Catalyst customer accounts, this role will deliver transformative solutions in the Business Intelligence space. The role will also manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, to negotiate and close business, whilst managing current business relationships with customers.  

Roles and Duties

  • Prospect, forecast, and planning of new business deals
  • Run thorough problem centric discovery calls to qualify all leads and sales opportunities
  • Work with key individuals at our customers to expand our presence, portfolio and services into new business units
  • Work with Presales, to create impactful demos showcasing solutions to specific customer problems
  • Develop proposals in line with customer objectives, encompassing all aspects of the Catalyst portfolio and expertise
  • Advise customers about the benefits and Return on Investment (ROI) of our portfolio and how they align to key customer business drivers
  • Manage sales through the full cycle, from prospecting, to discovery, forecasting, resource allocation, and close
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
  • Create and maintain a complete value proposition for your defined market sector and accounts
  • Present Catalyst and partner products in a compelling, positive, and professional way
  • Develop lead generation initiatives, in conjunction with our Marketing and Presales teams
  • Participate in trade show events, workshops and seminar
  • Actively manage your pipeline, keeping it up to date for weekly forecast and pipeline review calls

Key Skills

  • 4+ years selling SaaS software 
  • Experience building, developing and managing large enterprise deals 
  • Experience advising senior leadership members on exec deals with multiple stakeholders, discrete budgets and bespoke solutions 
  • Ability to close inbound and outbound opportunities 

Expertise

  • Ability to manage multiple sales cycles from creation to closure
  • Understanding of the MEDDPICC sales qualification process, or Customer Centric Selling sales methodology
  • Ability to qualify and prioritise prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building
  • Excellent communication, listening, presentation, negotiation and writing skills
  • An outgoing, focused and organised personality, with a strong will to succeed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and identify and understand key market and company drivers
  • Anticipate and plan for future market changes that will impact the business or our customers
  • Communicate the business value of our data solutions in an understandable manner
  • Successful solution selling experience to mid-size and large enterprise companies
  • Demonstrable experience of managing/working channels and experience calling on and selling to senior decision makers – business, operational and technical
  • A strong track record of success
    Experience selling Data software, solutions such as or similar to, Qlik Data Analytics, Qlik Data Integration, Snowflake, DataRobot and Mehrwerk, is beneficial but not essential
