Confirmed: Steve Gray, Analytics Manager at Croda and Daniel Massey, Business Analyst at Croda to speak at Qlik World Tour
Catalyst BI are delighted to announce that Croda’s Steve Gray, Analytics Manager and Business Analyst, Daniel Massey, will be guest speaking at the QlikWorld Tour and Data Strategy Showcase on 30 June 2022.
Croda is a global speciality chemical company, and one of Catalyst BI’s partners, providing global analytics using leading edge technologies.
Steve has worked in SAP BW for over 15 years in a number of industries, and for the past five years he has been at Croda working in BI. He is now their Analytics Manager leading their Analytics Team. He specialises in SAP BW configuration, Qlik Sense, BPC Analytics, Nodegraph and DataRobot.
Daniel is a Business Analyst working within the BI team. He specialises in end-to-end Qlik Sense app development and BI solutions in Qlik View and Qlik Sense. Having also a background in Digital Marketing he understands the need to develop products and solutions that satisfy customer requirements.
Steve and Daniel will be sharing their data science and machine learning journey, including:
• how Croda started its journey, failed at first, but saw the opportunity
• how Croda started their AutoML journey from vendor selection, PoC and internally selling
• buying a platform and successfully deploying models
• seeing success and value for Croda.

The QlikWorld Tour and Data Strategy Showcase will take place at Headingley Stadium in Leeds from 9.00am – 5.00pm. The confirmed line-up of those speaking, along with Croda, Whitworths, Onward Homes, Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust and Price Forbes and Partners will be announced by Catalyst BI over the coming days.
