The London Borough of Hillingdon, is a finalist in the ‘Innovation in Children’s Services category at the MJ Local Government Achievement Awards. The ceremony will be held tomorrow evening, at The Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. Mike Cawthorn from Catalyst has been invited to attend and everybody has their fingers crossed for a win! This recognition results from the work we have carried out with Hillingdon. Overall the project highlights data collaboration for local authority, health, police, social services and education. It has helped to identify and target intervention for young people considered to be at risk of exploitation and violence within the borough. The initiative has been recognised by MOPAC for its innovation using analytics and is seen to be ground-breaking across all large Metropolitan and urban areas. Good Luck to everybody taking part!
